Can You Find These Dogs A Loving Home?
The Outlets of Colorado and Larimer Humane Society will host families and their canine companions at the Outlets at Loveland for a day of fashion 
and fun on Saturday, May 7 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Ten adoptable dogs, each poised to endear a friend or family and a new home, will be groomed, attired in Petsense® Fashions and escorted down the runway by their human model companions at the first ever Take a Bow Wow event.
This free pet expo and pet fashion show will feature regional vendors like Tail Waggin’ Mobile Pet Grooming, the provider of the ‘salon services’ for the featured Larimer Humane Society dogs. Booths and demonstrations will be provided by Doggie Dips and Chips, Bones Du Jour, Precious Memories, TryMyWork.com, Aspen Grove Veterinary Clinic, Rovers Ranch, Off Leash Training, Spa 4 Paws and more.
Immediately after the dog fashion show, Take a Bow Wow will host a modeling contest honoring one pooch through the Outle
ts of Colorado’s Strike a Pose model search contest. Treats and prizes for both four-legged and two-legged attendees are planned. All proceeds from Take a Bow Wow will benefit Larimer Humane Society.
The brilliant idea behind Take a Bow Wow is to match up these adorable shelter dogs with just the right families and individuals for adoption. They’ll be attired in accessories and clothes from the Outlets at Castle Rock’s boutique store Petsense®, where dog fashions are available at outlet prices of half off, every day. The shelter dogs will be groomed in anticipation of this runway event and accompanied by the stylish Strike a Pose amateur models, who represent the Outlets of Colorado for one year after winning the human version of the Outlets’ modeling contest each spring. The human models will also showcase fashions from some of the 300 retail outlets within the Outlets of Colorado centers in Castle Rock,
Loveland and Silverthorne.
“Larimer Humane Society is delighted to be the charitable partner with the Outlets of Colorado for this first-ever event,” said Marcie Williams, Community Relations Manager for Larimer Humane Society. “These pets, and many more like them at the shelter, are ready to be welcomed into compassionate homes.”
Pet owners with a particularly photogenic pup can enter him or her in the Strike a Pose Dog Modeling Contest, to vie for the crown of the Outlets of Colorado Strike a Pose Dog. The winning dog will receive a three-day, two-night vacation for his or her family at Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs, a pet-friendly resort property. The prize package also includes a $150 gift card for shopping at the Outlets at Loveland, a pet modeling portfolio card with a professional photograph, a June fashion shoot alongside the human Strike a Pose model contest winners and on-air appearances on select television segments for the period of a year.
Countless individuals and organizations have stepped up to do their part of make this Larimer Humane Society benefit event a success. Tail Waggin’ Mobile Pet Grooming, the mobile grooming outfit that is a favorite of many pet owners around northern Colorado, will be on site at Take a Bow Wow. This unique grooming service has a self-contained tub, table, freshwater tank, generator and hot water heater in its Dalmatian-themed van. Owner Mitzi Jones will perform the ‘makeovers’ on all ten of the adoptable dogs. “Dogs, who are essentially pack animals, really enjoy all the favorable attention they receive after being pampered and groomed,” said Jones. “I’m excited to do my part for these animals and help them put their best foot forward for their Take a Bow Wow appearances.”
The Boy Scouts of America, Longs Peak Council, will be on clean up duty and will assist visitors with information on the day’s events and schedule at Take a Bow Wow. The Outlets at Loveland’s Facebook fan page is offering a donation of fifty cents to Larimer Humane Society on behalf of each of its fans who provide a ‘like’ through their Facebook page at Facebook.com/outletsatloveland.
Take a Bow Wow will offer gourmet treats, water, and doggie flying discs to canine visitors. Their human companions will enjoy truffles from Harry & David® and other refreshments. The Outlets of Colorado will give away hundreds of dollars in merchandise, like Coach® bags and accessories, gift cards and other prizes through drawings and a spin on their famous prize wheel.
The Take a Bow Wow Expo and Pet Fashion Show will take place Saturday, May 7, 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Outlets at Loveland, in Space #5270 at

Fashion Ambush Season Finale!
Fashion Ambush with a Colorado Twist wraps up its first season on July 28th with Peggy Ziglin, the notorious Regional Fashion Advisor for the Outlets of Colorado and her Fox 21 News partner, morning reporter Craig Coffey completing their final fashion makeover at Outlets at Castle Rock.
During their season, they’ve visited some of the coolest places in Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region, while surprising one lucky person with a complete fashion makeover. If you would like to see the videos of from our past segments, click here.
Over the last 6 months the two ambushed unsuspecting tourists at various Colorado Springs & Pikes Peak Region attractions but this
time the fashion makeover won’t be so surprising.
Why you ask? Because this time you can enter our contest at the comfort of your own home (or work). We’re taking applications (500 words or less as to why you or someone you know deserves a fashion makeover) now through June 22, 2011 at 12:00 noon. One lucky person will be selected from all of the received application and win a complete fashion makeover, valued at over $1,000.00.

Easter Activities for you and your Family!
Easter is this Sunday and if you are looking for something fun to do with your family, then visiting one of the Outlets of Colorado this week is the thing to do. Outlets at Castle Rock, Outlets at Loveland, and Outlets at Silverthorne have something special planned for you and a fun way to enjoy the Easter holiday.
Outlets at Castle Rock Easter Bunny Hop (to your house). The center is having an enter-to-win contest where one lucky family is going to have a special visitor (hint, cotton tail and large ears) stop by their home this Saturday (between 1 pm and 3pm) for a special Easter Egg Hunt and Meet & Greet. The Easter Bunny, along with his friends from Harry & David and the center, will be on hand to make the visit a special memory for everyone. To enter your name into the “Easter Bunny Hop to your House” drawing and for specific information stop by Outlets at Castle Rock’s Customer Service Desk in the food court. We will be drawing the one lucky winner on Thursday, April 21, 2011. 
Outlets at Castle Rock Breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Join us in our food court on Saturday, April 23rd at 9:00 am – 10:00 am where you’ll enjoy a pancake breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Eat breakfast, have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny, get your face painted, have a balloon turned into something totally cool, and much more. Outlets at Loveland Easter Fun. Join the Outlets at Loveland on Saturday, April 23rd from 1pm to 4pm for some free Easter Fun! The event will be held in the Community Room (next to Levi’s). Children can enjoy free Easter Bunny Photos (please bring your own camera), Easter Eggs, and they w
ill receive a Coloring Book for attending the event. To make it fun for the adults, the first 100 adults to the event with their children will receive an Easter Egg with up to $100 cash inside!
Outlets at Silverthorne celebrates Easter with their new shopping center mascot Thor. Stop by Outlets at Silverthorne Visitor’s Center this week (Tuesday through Friday) from 9am to 4pm and meet Thor. The management team will be giving out Easter candy and special coupons from the retailers at Outlets at Silverthorne. Thor can’t wait to be the Easter Bunny! He wants to show off the new demands (like sit) that he’s learning. You’ll be im
pressed with what this little puppy, that was rescued just a few months ago, has learned. If you “like” Outlets at Silverthorne Facebook page they are donating $0.50 per every new “like” to the League of Animals and People of Summit County – a non-profit organization helping pets from low-income homes. If you haven’t liked their yet, do so before May 31, 2011 to help raise needed funds for this great Summit County organization.

road trip in 2011 and we are stopping at various area attractions throughout Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region with our Fashion Ambush, a Fashion Makeover with a Colorado Twist!
Working with our partners Fox 21 News, Colorado Springs Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Style Salon we stop at an area attraction once a month and perform one Fashion Ambush makeover. One unexpected visitor receives a complete hair, make-up, and clothing makeover (valued at over $500) while hundreds of visitors receive goody bags with fun gifts, coupons, and a $10 gift card voucher.
In January we stopped off at Cheyenne Mountain Resort and surprised a new mother while she was eating a fabulous Sunday Brunch with her family. Last month we were at the Colorado Spring and ambushed an airport employee.

Fashion Ambush, Colorado Style.
In 2011 Outlets of Colorado will be up and down I-25 working our fashion magic. On January 30, 2011 Outlets at Castle
Rock, Outlets at Loveland, and Outlets at Silverthorne will launch The Fashion Ambush with a Colorado Twist. It’s our newest fashion makeover adventure and with the help of my sidekick Craig Coffey, morning reporter on Fox 21 television, will be “ambushing” unsuspecting individuals each month in 2011, at a variety of tourism attractions in Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region.
The first Ambush is planned for Sunday, January 30, at Cheyenne Mountain Resort during their Sunday Champagne Brunch at the resort’s signature Mountain View Restaurant.
One lucky diner will be selected for an on-site restyling. The winner is rewarded with a makeover valued at $500 and awarded additional prizes such as a two night stay at Cheyenne Mountain Resort. Ambush subjects receive a wardrobe from the Outlets’ designer retail stores like Off 5th, Ann Taylor and CAbi, a complete expert hair style from Styles Salon, professional makeup and fashion advice. The process is documented on film before, during and after the Fashion Ambush and the resulting three-minute video segment will appear on Fox 21 for several weeks– until the next Ambush occurs.

In 2011 Outlets of Colorado (home to Outlets at Castle Rock, Outlets at Loveland, and Outlets at Silverthorne) will be taking its fashion style to various attractions in and around Colorado Springs and we’ll ambush an unexpected visitor giving them a makeover (including hair, wardrobe, and makeout). Our Fashion Ambush team will be at fun area attractions throughout the year with our partner Fox 21 News and together we’ll be showing off some of the great places to visit and while we’re there will make a few people even prettier to look at.
Our first Fashion Ambush will be on Sunday, January 30th at Cheyenne Mountain Resort. We’ll be there between 11 and 2 (and of course that means we’ll be having brunch).
